BITS & PIECES
In the heart of downtown LA resided a massive piece of sculptor called “Airplane Parts”. Created in 2003, it greeted visitors to the Museum of Contemporary Arts. Made of scraps of old airplanes wired together into a massive airplane parts tree. The artwork was 25 feet tall and 65 feet across.
Although it has been compared to the works of Pablo Picasso, it was removed in 2021. Some say it simply flew away.
